A lot of people ask me if I have had any cravings. When I think of cravings, I think of them as something weird or something that people need to have all the time throughout their pregnancy. And if that is the proper definition, I guess my answer would be "no, I have not had cravings." In general, I will eat anything and I am always hungry it seems. Of course I had my bouts with nausea, but nothing severe (no throwing up, etc.).
But I have craved things in phases:
In my first trimester, you could say I craved eggs. I ate at least two eggs a day. I had two fried for breakfast with toast and a grapefruit and some hot tea. Sometimes at night I would make an egg scramble and put them on top of chiliquiles. That was mostly if Charles wasn't home. Charles asked me once "Don't you ever get sick of eggs?" And I was like, "No! They taste great!"
In my second trimester, I started to crave fruit. I ate grapefruits every morning, two cuties for lunch, an apple for a snack and sometimes I would have more cuties or a pear for an evening snack. I also started to crave sweets. Those packages of chocolate donuts (the cheapy ones) at the grocery store started to sound good, as did chocolate milk and yogurt.
In my third trimester, I have been craving snow cones and smoothies. I pour ice and whatever juice I have on hand into the blender and mix em up. I have had cranberry icees, pineapple/banana icees and sometimes Charles will add yougurt or ice cream to the mix. I have been having about 3-4 a week. I think this has a lot to do with my unquenchable thirst, and my new body temperature. My new body temperature = hot. In the winter, I have always been way colder than Charles, wearing heavy socks, sweats, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. around the house. Now I wear boxer shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt. I sweat at night, and I sweat in the day.

First time visiting your site. Smart idea as you won't have to repeat stories. As far as your baby naming polls go, it seems like now is a good time to bring back old people names. I just looked up the names of the oldest living American ladies: Mary Josephine, Neva, Eugenie, Daisey, Florrie, Eunice, and Besse. Ok, maybe I was wrong on some of those, but I still think old people names are ready for a comeback.
It's true! Actually old lady names are on a comeback. But also, generally people do tend to recycle the same names over and over again due to familial and religious beliefs. I do like Neva, that seems unique.... We will see!
