Probably a controversial treatment, but our girls have had a little jaundice since they were in the NICU. (The jaundice has almost disappeared now.) It was never severe enough to warrant the florescent lights at the hospital, which was good. But when we saw the doctor on our last visit, he recommended a little sunshine directly on their skin to help with the jaundice. He even referenced old pictures of nuns carrying the orphans out of the orphanages and having them sun bathe. :-)
Our version is to open the blinds right by the changing table and while they are airing out after a diaper change, give them about 5 minutes or less in the sun. They actually seem to love the feel of the warmth on their skin. They get so calm and happy!
Here's Abigail showing some booty!
Here's Annabelle getting her tan. She has the most expressive forehead. Look at those wrinkles!
Little baby toes, and Charles getting creative with the camera. Go Charles!
