Okay, I realize it is a little cheesy to put a baby registry on our informational blog.
However, I am also a sucker for good deals, causing me to register at more than one place. Generally, Charles and I registered at Babies R Us for our large items and we registered at Target for the smaller items. But when I was comparison shopping online, I started finding items cheaper at Amazon.com so I started registering for them there. I just hated the idea that someone might pay $77.00 for a Baby Bjorn at Babies R Us, when they could get it at Amazon.com for $56.00.
This means that it might be more difficult for our friends and family to figure out what we have registered for and where. So, to try to make it easier I added direct links to our multiple registries on this blog, hoping for a one-stop shop of sorts.
Thanks for listening.

ok...so help me out here sista. There is so much cute stuff on your registry and I can't decide what things you want and need the most! Maybe tell me your favorite colors (i.e. green or pink) and the "animal" you like best (i.e. frogs, ducks, etc.) Also...do you want to dress the girls the same or do you want them in different colors? Let me know! love you! xoxo
Amazon's the way to go! I even buy juice from there!
Not cheezy, altho I'm sure it feels that way - it's actually so convenient for everyone.
HOW FUN!
Hey G! I made a little post about the theme and colors issue I have been having. But as far as what I need the most on the registry:
1)On Amazon.com, I prioritized them by need. I wish all registries would do that!
2) At Babies R Us, we registered for only the basics that we absolutely needed. So pretty much everything on that list is necessary. We still are looking for a double stroller, high chairs, and crib bedding that will work with the room colors. We don't currently have cribs or a changing table/dresser either so we are working on that too.
3) A Target, we registered for the small stuff that doesn't cost as much, but that we will need. I know desitin doesn't sound real exciting to buy as a gift, but it is needed!
I figured people who love to buy/make clothes and the other cute stuff would do so despite what I registered for so I would let them have fun with it if they wanted. So the only clothes stuff I registered for were like hooded bath towels and onesies and stuff that I know I will need.
I hope that helps and makes sense!
To Gail! I love Amazon too! it's way more than books! And even cousin Dina puts her wishlists on there and it makes it so easy to send gifts halfway across the country.
I just want to point out that my sister-in-law is due in March and she just told me that Amazon allows you to add your Babies R Us and Target registries to your Amazon list. I remember doing that with my Amazon/Target lists one year and I think it was pretty easy. It would probably help people from having to compare each list separately and maybe you could prioritize everything in one place. By the way, from many past baby shower experiences (my own and others) register for everything you think you might need and don't worry about the cost. People will surprise you with their need to give and if you don't give them enough options then you may end up getting stuff that you really didn't need and that still cost the giver a lot of money.
Amy - that is a good idea and Amazon is SO GOOD.
We have a Jeep brand baby carrier that I would be more than happy to ship to you. Mike carried Nadia EVERYWHERE in China in it on both trips. Or are you getting one that holds both girls. Oh my.
Here's a link, but ours is tan and black.

Thank you! We actually registered for two baby bjorns which are similar to the Jeep carrier. I don't think I could carry both babies at once like that..one would have to be in back and the other in front...and that would be weird! But someone already bought one on our registry so we'll see if we get the other one. If not, we'll have you send your Jeep one. Thanks!
