I thought for sure that with the new triumphs in infertility, that the idea of twins would no longer be a novel idea. I was wrong! People are fascinated! And in their curiosity they sometimes ask weird questions.
The most common:
1) Do twins run in your family?
** My response is usually, "No, I am just lucky!"
The most puzzling question:
2) Did you plan to have twins?
** I got this question twice in one day! It was so weird. And both times, I responded with "I don't think anybody PLANS to have twins." I mean, you can plan to become pregnant, but I don't think it is possible to "aim" for twins? Am I missing something?

I had some garage sale lady tell me that I was going to have a hemephrodite(sp) because she couldn't tell the sex by the shape of my belly. I mean, WHO SAYS THAT TO A PREGNANT WOMAN? How RUDE! If that was all you got you are in good shape.
Holy cow! that is crazy! What the heck?! That woman must have been seriously high or seriously pissed that her garage sale wasn't going well. You're right. I haven't gotten anything that bad (yet!).
People do say crazy things.
